We are delighted to say that our soda blaster and soda/hard media blaster was awarded
"Best Product of 2010" by Classic and Sportscar Magazine.
Also, recently tested and reviewed by 'Classics Monthly'. Their opinion:-
"The result is superb. From rough to ready in two hours using just one process. THIS is the way to DIY achieve a properly prepared engine bay ready for painting."

Specifically designed to blast both 'Archifine' hard media at low pressure and Soda at higher pressure, this pot is fitted with our own design of metering valve assembly to flow a fine, hard media at pressures as low as 15psi for soft surfaces and up to 50psi for really tough coating.
Perfect for removing coatings and rust from hard surfaces. It leaves a finely etched surface on metals,  perfectly keyed for painting.
Comes complete with everything you need to load up with Archifine or Soda (not included) and start blasting, including full instructions and face hood. Requires a compressor supplying a minimum of 8cfm.
We strongly recommend the use of Archifine hard media because its very good and not dangerous, though any fine media will work.
This pot will blast soda with no modifications.
Be aware that if you use this pot for both media, there is a chance of contamination of hard media in the soda - a potential problem if blasting engine components. Why not buy both pots?
Our pots are not always orange. We do use grey pots fairly regularly. The quality is of the same high standard.

N.B. Please be very careful when buying a blast pot of any kind. There are a number of pots for sale at the moment that are just plain dangerous. They look almost identical to our pots (though usually tend to be red) and are made of considerably thinner pressed steel. They are usually (though not always) remarkably cheap. You really don't want to be near one of these pots if they suddenly decide to let go. They can do some serious damage. If you see one and think "goodness, thats remarkably cheap", there is a reason why. Be warned!
